Partridge Community Church family,
Good morning! Once again, we are bringing you our Sunday worship from a variety of places.
Lisa & Jim French, Shelby Harner, Robynn Sims, and I will be live-streaming a full worship service from the sanctuary at 11 am on Facebook. If you can't make it at 11, you'll still be able to view the video at any time.
You'll find all our videos on the church's Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/PartridgeCommunityChurch (and you should be able to view the videos even if you don't have a Facebook account).
The communal prayers for this morning are available below so that you can say them along with us, and I'll send out the pastoral prayer and the sermon transcript shortly after our live stream.
CALL TO WORSHIP
In the beginning God created all things,
and God saw that they were good.
At our beginning, God created us
unique and irreplaceable, loved and known and treasured by God
In all our new beginnings, God creates something new
so we will seek God in the freshness of this morning,
in the laughter of friends, in the colors of creation, wherever we find ourselves.
Creator God, open our eyes and our spirits to your presence,
ever here in your creation, and ever beyond it in eternity.
THE LORD'S PRAYER
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
CONFESSION OF SIN
You created us in your image and set us as caretakers for the earth and all its plants and animals. You anointed us as disciples, charging us to care for our fellow human beings. But in many ways, we have failed to be what you have created us to be. Have mercy on us, we pray, and renew our minds and hearts, that we may live out your intended purpose for us. Amen.
ASSURANCE OF PARDON
We are part of creation’s fulfillment. God forgives us and frees us to live as faithful stewards and disciples, celebrating all that God has done. Let us rest in God’s faithful presence so that we may be energized for the work ahead. Thanks be to God!
